Roche Harbor Resort is the location for the welcome dinner and all wedding festivities. This is the only hotel with a room block and there are many room options for varying budgets.

You can also email Ashley at weddings@rocheharbor.com. Make sure to reference Room Block Code number 282123 or mention the Hanson wedding on 5/25/25.

There are other hotels in Friday Harbor but please note you will be responsible for transportation to and from wedding events. Ride share services do not operate on the island so a rental car would be encouraged.

It is very important that you plan to stay on San Juan Island for the nights of the events you are planning to attend because there are no night ferries. We recommend coming to the island on Saturday May 24th at the latest to ensure you are on time for the welcome dinner and to ensure there are no issues getting to Roche Harbor on time for the wedding on May 25th.
